About Us
Tom Currà
President & Executive Producer
Tom served as the President and CEO of WVIA Public Media (PBS/NPR) and Chiaroscuro Records, where he secured $26 million to stabilize and transform the studio’s operations. Bridging creative development and operational turnaround, he oversaw the studio’s film, television and music slate as Executive Producer, winning 11 Emmy nominations, 4 awards and 2 Cine Golden Eagle Awards. In 2020 he founded Knotty Oak Pictures, a feature film and television creative development company focused on character-driven storytelling.
Greg Matkosky
Director & Cinematographer
Greg is an Emmy and Cine Golden Eagle Award-winning writer/director and cinematographer with nearly 40 years experience in national commercial, international documentary and giant-screen production across five continents. He received his BA in journalism from Penn State and has an MFA in cinematography from AFI, and has lectured on filmmaking at numerous universities throughout the country.
